JOB SUMMARY
The CSA Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of 7 Clinical Staff Assistant (CSAs) who support operations across three clinic areas: Pediatrics, Geriatrics, and House Calls. These clinics collectively serve 27 faculty providers, 19 residents, and 2 fellows, requiring consistent administrative leadership to ensure efficient patient access and exceptional customer service.
This position provides day-to-day supervision of front-end clinic operations, including scheduling workflows, registration processes, patient check-in/check-out functions, staff training, template management, performance management, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. The CSA Supervisor serves as a critical resource for staff, providers, and patients by addressing operational issues, monitoring workflow efficiency, and maintaining service standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting 7 Clinical Staff Assistants
- Managing daily staffing coverage and workflow coordination
- Monitoring patient access, scheduling accuracy, and registration quality
- Supporting patient experience initiatives and service recovery efforts
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Providing staff coaching, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Partnering with clinic leadership to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Assisting with quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Other duties assigned
