Job Description
- Process development, validation, and implementation
- MAE Planning for new processes, process improvements and new products
- Lead continuous improvement process (CIP) activities in all TEF areas, motivating associates to support and actively participate in Value Stream CIP projects
- Continuous improvement of TPM: Corrective and Preventive maintenance of production equipment
- Manage equipment spare parts warehouse with the target of part availability, while maintaining lowest possible inventory
- Participation in product TTM projects
- PFMEA and Control Plan leadership
- Engineered to Order (ETO) routings and validation
- ITM Function:
- Database management
- SAP support
- VT Standards: generation and maintenance
- Coordinate and execute the industry 4.0 Vision and Roadmap for the Plant
- Provide 100% up-time on manufacturing software solutions and MES systems
- Develop and deploy internal policies, processes, and procedures
- Establish environment for risk-taking, innovation and socially responsive behavior
- Lead meetings to build team spirit and communicate company updates
- Interface with internal/external customers
- Coach and develop associates to achieve their career goals.
- Travel Expectation: Up to 10% (Domestic and International)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent years of experience (10+) in manufacturing and/or manufacturing engineering
- 7+ years of production/manufacturing experience
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial capacity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing principles (Lean and build-to-order/batch processing)
- Experience leading multifunctional, diverse, and cross departmental teams – driving improvements and changes
- Knowledge of TPM
- Working knowledge of Industry 4.0
- Knowledge in the fields of investment calculation, cost calculation and cost structure
- Analytical problem-solving techniques, Shainin, Six Sigma or similar
- Effective applied knowledge of machining practices and procedures, and a broad knowledge of basic engineering principles as they apply
- Exceptional continuous improvement process skills in direct and indirect areas
- Strong proactive, analytical, problem solving, planning and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in international teams/networks – intercultural flexibility
- Must be a proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to coach associates and be a role model
