Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer(US Remote)

Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency improvement over cart-picking operations, by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots. All this is accomplished while integrating with the operator’s Warehouse Management System, utilizing, and optimizing existing facility infrastructure.

Locus Robotics is seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer that will support the LocusHub and Locus View II applications.  LocusHub enables clients to manage/run reports for warehouse related data.  This position will interact with cross functional teams, problem solve, troubleshoot and resolve client related issues.  Local candidates preferred.

Job Description

• Design, Create, Execute and Maintain test plans and test scripts
• Adhere to the QA process and Agile methodology
• Work with the QA team, software developers and product owners to ensure product quality.
• Work with members from cross functional teams to deliver quality test plans that meet defined requirements.
• Perform feature testing and Regression testing including white-box and black-box.
• Perform thorough test case execution, defect reporting and documentation of all test artifacts.
• Produce clear, accurate, and detailed descriptions in bug reports.
• Monitor the bug tracking database, track all bugs, follow-up on progress toward completion.
• Design, maintain and execute manual and automated tests using commercial tools and scripts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 5+ years of commercial software QA testing experience.
• 5+ years of automation testing with Java/C# & Selenium preferred
• Strong self-starter and can work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with Git.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
• Experience with a test tool like Azure Dev Ops (or comparable) to create test cases and record test runs a plus.
• Experience testing multi-tenant, multi-region browser-based web applications hosted in the cloud.
• Experience with Asana and Jira a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL a plus.
• Experience with PowerBI is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with locale specific testing
• Attention to detail, process and logical flow for an application.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must show a high technical acumen and a creative mindset.
• Strong teamwork and the ability to quickly learn a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
