What you’ll do

SAP Procurement Delivery seeks a Senior Technology Consultant for our global Procurement Technology Services team. This role involves managing the integration work stream through SAP Procurement standard offerings or custom solutions. Integration consultants manage projects and create efficient data exchange solutions with clients' external systems.

 

The Senior Technology Consultant will manage integration projects, including requirement gathering, configuration, validation, and deployment. This role requires excellent consultative skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.

- Participate in requirement gathering sessions and design workshops with cross-functional teams.

- Manage multiple projects and report status to the project team and Fieldglass management.

- Monitor tasks and milestones to ensure adherence to schedules.

- Develop expert knowledge of SAP Procurement through training, self-study, and collaboration.

- Work with customers/partners to validate test scripts. -Communicate issues, test results, and   

  corrective actions effectively.

- Assist in project transition activities, such as lessons learned, next phase considerations,  

  documentation, and solution presentations.

 

What you bring

- 5+ years deploying Ariba in a Techno-Functional role 

- Experience with integration data/file formats including but not limited to XML, XSD, XSLT, cXML, CSV, etc)

- Understanding and experience with web services and other technologies for data transport

- Proven track record of solving complex problems by analyzing variables, recognizing root causes, identifying possible solutions, partnering with team members to determine the best solution

- Familiarity with SAP Cloud and on-premises solutions. SAP Business Technology Platform, Integration suite highly preferred

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Computer Science, IT, Business Administration)

The SAP Global Procurement Technology Services (PTS) team functions across all SAP regions. While this role primarily focuses on SAP Procurement Solutions, PTS implements SAP procurement technologies, such as SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and SAP S/4HANA Procurement.
