About the team + role
The Securities Lending Operations Associate will be responsible for the execution of RHS Securities Lending middle office functions, so it scales to support Robinhood’s ambitious growth plans for Securities Lending.
You implement our securities lending middle-office areas: new account onboarding, securities lending trade processing and settlements, buy ins, recalls, call-backs, trade support, fully paid program (tracking, compliance, payment) and regulatory reporting.
You will process operational issues, new strategy implementation and product offerings, and will be responsible for mitigating regulatory risk and for compliance with Firm policy, SEC rules, and FINRA regulations.
You will also work cross-functionally to champion a compliant culture and business.

What you’ll do
- Assist management with resolving escalated issues from trading.
- Collaborate closely with compliance, trading, and business management to ensure strategies are implemented and objectives are met.
- Act as a trusted aide de camp to the operations head.
- Execute tactics for the day to day operations of the middle office.
- Assist in the design and testing of operational procedures and processes for all aspects of Securities Lending including the fully paid program.
- Adhere to and remain aligned with Robinhood Securities’ back office related Written Supervisory Procedures.
- Process Robinhood Securities’ regulatory inquiries, reporting and audits.

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
