The FP&A Manager for the xScale team plays a critical role in driving financial visibility and decision-making across SG&A and Cost of Revenue, serving as a strategic partner to business leadership. This role leads consolidation, reporting, and planning processes for the xScale P&L while advancing cost transparency and process improvements in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
Cost Management
Serve as the primary Finance Business Partner for all xScale functions (Finance, Legal, HR, Design & Construction, Operations, Sales) providing strategic financial guidance, actionable insights, and close partnership with leadership across the xScale organization
Oversee IBX Cost of Revenue (COR) in close collaboration with the xScale JV FP&A team, ensuring accurate reporting, alignment, and financial transparency
Drive continuous improvement of cost reporting processes, enhancing accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial information
Consolidation
Act as the central consolidation lead for Corporate and Management Reporting for the Equinix xScale P&L, including preparation and delivery of monthly reporting and internal management reporting
Lead consolidation of forecasts, financial guidance, and budget submissions across stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate requirements
Develop, maintain, and manage key financial planning calendars, including monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual budget cycles, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and deadlines
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal finance teams (xScale FP&A, Corporate FP&A, and functional FP&A) to address the needs of the business
Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders

Qualifications
6+ years of progressive experience in Finance, with a strong emphasis on FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Prior experience in business partnering and cost management required
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience using Oracle PBCS or similar financial reporting tools required
Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel capabilities
Comfort operating in ambiguity with high accountability
Comfort in presenting across various stakeholders at varying levels of leadership
Ability to distill complex financial concepts and situations into clear, concise, and actionable insights for diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Financial designation (CFA, CPA) preferred
Experience in a highly matrixed business preferred

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Tampa Office TAO : 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 112,000 - 162,000 CAD / Annual
