About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our Operations team. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in our kitchen, preparing and cooking high-quality meals that delight our customers. This is a full-time, hourly position that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment alongside a passionate culinary team.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented with attention to quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, sauces, and other items as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to the kitchen manager.
- Comply with all food safety and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Handle feedback and adapt to changing priorities during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
