TITLE: Digital Engagement Leader

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Babson’s annual goals for the student Digital Engagement team
- Supervise up to 6 student Digital Engagement Specialists during scheduled shifts
- Assist the supervisor with developing the skills of the Digital Engagement Specialists through training/coaching, constructive feedback and encouragement, including annual 1:1 evaluations
- Assist with training new team members
- Become proficient with the Leader’s version of GiveCampus Go software
- Provide technical support during the calling process and team video sessions, and contact with GiveCampus Go support services, and/or Babson IT support services if necessary
- Participate in periodic brainstorming sessions regarding upcoming student/campus events that may be valuable for our student video segment messaging to donors and prospective donors
- Enforce proper procedures according to the Digital Engagement Specialist Training Manual and review with team members if necessary
- Track weekly Specialists’ successes and earned bonuses
- Participate in responding to student and supervisor emails in team email inbox
- Assist in composing weekly Specialists’ schedules
- Assist in proofreading student email notes, videos, and texts in the queue and edit if necessary before they are approved/sent by the end of the shift
- Coordinate student shift break
- Close down the operation at the end of the shift and provide supervisor with nightly reports tracking gifts/pledges/student bonuses/issues, etc.
- In the event of a fire alarm or emergency, ensure everyone follows safety protocol and if necessary contact Babson Public Safety
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have at least one-year prior experience as a Babson Digital Engagement Specialist, and must be reliable, responsible, professional, punctual, and ensure that both office and prospect/donor information is kept confidential. Being flexible with the work schedule and coordinating work shifts with the other Digital Engagement Leaders is required. Candidates must have excellent customer service, leadership skills, and the ability to work well with all personality types, maintain an enjoyable but professional work environment, and be able to motivate the Digital Engagement Specialists. Candidates must also have a firm understanding of the policies and procedures of the Digital Engagement Program—including the College’s health and safety protocol, and GiveCampus Go (new DELs will receive training on the Leader’s level of GC Go).
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: A minimum commitment of 2-3 work shifts per week is required to maintain this position (shifts take place Tuesday through Friday (an additional Sunday and/or Monday shift may be added occasionally). The ability to be perceptive, unbiased, as well as flexible with work schedule, in addition to keeping sensitive information in confidence is a must. Student Digital Engagement Leaders are promoted from within the team.
PAY RATE: $16.50/hr. 7/31/2025
