Job Purpose

 

This Category Manager will be responsible for steering all analytic models / corrective measures focused on leading / lagging indicators within Mandated E2E stream focused on 2nd oversight. This high visibility role coordinates with Gas operations, Engineering, customer to manage development, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory compliance assurance processes. This role establishes appropriate governance, detailed reporting, testing protocols, and performance metrics to guide / support 2nd Line assurance activities.  This role will also lead our Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation strategy setting up the framework and design needed to implement the future of 2nd line compliance.

This role will work closely with the Compliance reporting team which will generate actionable compliance program data and category reports.  Successful candidate will aid the business in understanding compliance reporting, including identifying and helping to improve off target performance. In addition, work across executing organizations for complex compliance programs processes to generate a “team approach” to delivering positive performance outcomes. Working close with the Continuous improvement teams for further investigation / evaluation of significant compliance issues. This role will facilitate improvements through performance breakdowns and root cause analysis’s reviews with business. 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Access and evaluate compliance performance data.  Deep understanding of data models and tools to support and create visibility on leading / lagging indicators.
  • Coordinate development and implementation of new regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Manage development of standards for regulatory assurance processes, procedures, and frameworks (esp. compliance controls and testing).
  • Generate annual plans for and report on 2nd Line assurance activities (independent and ongoing, risk-based validation/monitoring of compliance controls). 
  • Generate materials and provide training on compliance management standards, including implementation and sustainability of effective compliance controls.
     

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred Engineering / Computer Science with 7 +Years’ experience in an analytical role.  MBA Preferred. Project mgmt. experience preferred. PMP Certification preferred.
    • Skills in Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python, Data modeling, MS Office
    • Strategic IT skills in design, automation and operations preferred for AI/ML/Automation
  • Understanding of Field Maintenance / Construction practices and standards
  • Understanding of Risks and Controls (Audit/SOX experience preferred)
  • Understanding of Regulatory Obligations.
  • Understanding of business processes and continuous improvement
  • Valid driver’s license

Salary - $157,000 - $185,000
