About the role

Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations and activities of assigned revenue cycle team. Responsibilities include executing operational decisions made to support department and team goals, personnel recruitment, staff coaching and development, monitoring service quality standards, escalating issues, implementing improvement and innovation initiatives and maintaining an effective daily management system. Ensures operations are compliant and meet specified production requirements. Aligns workflows with other revenue cycle and hospital operational leaders and teams as required.

  

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum four years experience in a hospital, medical, dental or behavioral health clinic revenue cycle setting, with at least one year with progressively responsible assignments, training, committee work, project management or team leadership role which requires coaching or leading peers. Technical knowledge in at least one of the following: commercial or government insurance medical, dental or behavioral health billing, accounts receivable management, payment posting, or health insurance authorization. Experience working in a high production setting, focused on collaboration, problem solving. Experience implementing process improvement and change management in a team setting.

Required Credentials

Preferred
An Associates or Bachelor of Arts or Science. Two years experience in a formal leadership role. Experience leading process improvement and change management projects in a team setting. Experience working in an interactive customer service role. Technical knowledge in two or more of the following: commercial or government insurance medical, dental or behavioral health billing, accounts receivable management, payment posting, or health insurance authorization. Experience supervising or leading a culturally diverse staff.

Compensation Range

$73,378.00 - $110,066.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
