Senior Profitability Analyst
Overview
This role is part of a high-impact finance team that supports business and operational decision-making through strong financial analysis, reporting, and cross-functional partnership. The position focuses on inventory management, balance sheet and P&L reviews, and the delivery of financial insights that improve profitability and business performance.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, actively engaging with the business to identify issues, drive decisions, and execute financial actions that improve profitability. This role requires initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to turn analysis into results by influencing cross‑functional partners across operations, supply chain, and business management. The position provides regular exposure to senior leadership and offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to strategic and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including variance analysis and executive-level reporting
Lead inventory analytics across multiple inventory types, identifying trends, risks, and financial impacts
Own inventory-related financial reporting and partner with operational teams to ensure accuracy and execution
Perform detailed financial analysis and provide clear commentary for finance and non-finance leaders
Analyze product and portfolio performance, including margin trends and lifecycle performance
Support pricing, cost, and margin discussions through data-driven analysis
Forecast and help deliver predictable financial results through disciplined planning and tracking
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and business initiatives
Lead or contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support management requests and business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
