Position Summary
A Sales Manager (Non-Producing) is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager oversee the operations of the branch and supervise at least two full time employees. This position will manage a team of employees, set performance goals, develop strategies to increase branch productivity, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers. Additionally, they may be involved in budgeting, financial reporting, and implementing marketing initiatives to drive business growth.

  • Essential Functions
    Develop and maintain an attitude of teamwork, establish a culture consistent with Company’s corporate mission statements, and ensure employees abide by the policies and procedures set forth by Company;
  • Recruit licensed Loan Officer’s for branch, review payroll information and communicate with Company’s Human Resources Department on personnel changes, including recommendations for new hires and terminations;
  • Review monthly incentive compensation calculation worksheets, remaining cognizant of their contents, modifying branch efforts to keep results in line with expectations, and preparing and submitting periodic production projections in accordance with Company’s policies and expectations;
  • Develop and maintain a network of relationships with existing and prospective clients, promote the image and reputation of Company as creative, dynamic and competitive, expand Company’s market share through the promotion of Company’s business and sales, and actively holding, and ensuring attendance by branch members, sales meetings, training seminars, and other events;
  • Assist Company’s management in the development of a successful group of employees; and
  • Assist and cooperate with Company in responding to investor inquiries related to loans originated
    in the Branch (e.g., documentation of deficiencies, repurchases, etc.).

Qualifications/Company Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.

Supervision

  • Direct Reports: 2 - 10 - Loan Officers and support staff
  • Minimum two years supervisory or leadership experience
  • Job Scope: Manages a single program, work unit, small department, or multiple program segments
  • Complexity: Problems encountered are often complex and may involve significant resource coordination and availability, evaluating and resolving discrepancies with data, analyses, processes, etc. using own expertise and judgment
  • Impact: Decisions and actions impact the results of own work team
  • Interaction/Supervision: Generally, manages staff with direct reports; responsible for complete oversight of people management of the area, including staffing, hiring, termination, and discipline, sets performance standards, evaluates staff, and makes pay decisions; accountable for staff development and training, etc.

Requirements

  • Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; general office mobility.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
  • Environmental: Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
