Customer Service Representative - Appearance Center

Home Medical Equipment (HME) provides home medical equipment/supplies and services to patients at home, in clinics, and at alternative care sites throughout Oregon and SW Washington. HME operations include multiple types of equipment, delivery methods, and insurances with varied medical necessity criteria. The Customer Support/HME Sales Representative is accountable for performing 'service order resolution' activities on accounts for Providence HME Satellite sales facilities. This position is required to balance quality and volume in providing excellent customer service to all customer inquiries associated with HME. Specifically, the Customer Support/HME Sales Representative will assist customers in finding and purchasing the right Home Medical Equipment and accessories in order to improve the end-users quality of life. Sales will take place at a Providence HME satellite or Halsey branch locations.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- Upon hire: In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties.
- 1 year Customer service experience in health care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree.
- 1 year experience with insurance verification, medical terminology, and medical coding (CPT/ICD-9).
- 2 years Home medical equipment experience.
