Echocardiogram Technologist, Cardiology, Per Diem Days, Chilton Medical Center

Chilton Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a per diem Radiology Cardio Technologist to work varied shifts including varied day hours with on call as needed. 

Essential Job Function:

• Prepare room for all Cath Lab procedures
• Power on all equipment and assures proper function
• Calibrate and/or balance all equipment
• Prepare patient for procedures (attach EKG and Nessary monitoring equipment)
• Explain in detail all aspects of the test to be performed
• Assist physician at tableside for LHC, FHC and as 1st Assist during interventional procedure

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited radiology school

License/Certification:

• New Jersey RT License
• ARRT (R)
• BLS certification

Relevant Experience:

At least 1 full year of Radiology Tech experience working within a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Department
