Job Description

The Audiologist provides comprehensive hearing care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is responsible for conducting evaluations, managing patient care, and maintaining accurate records—all while working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform diagnostic hearing and hearing aid evaluations, including cerumen management as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide reports to internal teams and external agencies
  • Manage scheduling and determine appropriate referrals (ENT, ER, clinic, etc.)
  • Monitor patient needs and ensure timely follow-up care
  • Order and maintain audiology equipment, hearing aids, and office supplies
  • Stay current on advancements in audiology practice
  • Promote quality improvement, patient safety, and culturally responsive care
  • Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care to all patients
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Audiology
  • Licensed Audiologist in the state of Missouri
  • Excellent hearing ability
  • Strong verbal communication skills for patient interaction and assessment
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting

Preferred

  • Knowledge of sign language
