Healthcare Specialist Service Engineer
Location: Field-based covering Bristol / Gloucestershire and surrounding areas
Position Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours a week

This unique schedule offers you 4 days of focused work, followed by 4 days off to recharge and enjoy quality time with loved ones or pursue personal interests. Veolia Water Technologies UK (VWT UK) is a world-renowned leader in water technologies, committed to delivering top-tier services to our clients in the Healthcare and Scientific market. We are looking for a dedicated and driven Service Engineer to join our team to specifically focus on our Renal lab equipment range. This will involve you entering Renal departments and servicing vital healthcare equipment providing patients with life-sustaining dialysis treatments. This role offers structured progression and a chance to make a real impact on our business, the environment and peoples lives.
What will you be doing?
As a Service Engineer, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
On-Site Maintenance: Conducting both preventative and corrective maintenance, including commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishments
Technical Support: Offering after-sales technical and commercial support to clients, and gathering feedback to assist in future product development
Customer Focus: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering recommendations to enhance system reliability and productivity
Troubleshooting and Fault Finding: You’ll be hands-on, solving challenges to keep systems running smoothly
On-Call Flexibility: As you grow in the role, you'll join our ‘On-Call Rota’ to ensure our clients receive support when they need it most

What do we need from you?
Experience: Previous experience as a Service Engineer in the Healthcare and Scientific market. Knowledge of water treatment or wastewater plants is desirable.
Qualifications: NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or similar or even working towards would be ideal but not essential.
Client-Facing Skills: Strong communication skills and experience engaging with clients, offering solutions and handling challenging conversations.
Time Management: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
Professionalism: A punctual, presentable individual who values customer satisfaction and strives to provide best-in-class service.
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
