Summary:

The Director of Specialty Pharmacy Business Solutions will report to the Vice President of Pharmacy Services and is responsible for the development and implementation of growth strategies for Rx To Go.  The Director of Specialty Pharmacy Business Solutions will focus on analyzing data and metrics for financial and business processes. This position should increase communication and effective collaboration between Rx To Go and internal FCS teams and will focus on establishing and maintaining consistent continuity of care processes across the pharmacy.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quantify new business opportunities and identify appropriate partnerships and projects to benefit Rx To Go.
  • Lead analysis of data and metrics to improve financial performance, forecasting and Budgeting.
  • Gather and disseminate information for the Payer Matrix which outlines key contract terms, data elements, and other pertinent information needed to properly set up insurance plans and patient accounts.
  • Establish yearly financial plan and prepare reports to highlight trends for Pharmacy executive leadership.
  • Build efficient and effective workflow models for pharmacy operations.
  • Create reporting and benchmarks to assist Rx To Go leadership to monitor call center agent performance.
  • Conduct proactive analyses and delivering strategic insights in a visually appealing manner.
  • Responsible for understanding, compliance, and participation in Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, and accreditation guidelines ensuring achievement of excellence in quality patient care.
  • Follows all federal/state pharmacy/healthcare regulations and maintains necessary records pertaining to the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence and compliance within the company.
  • Additional tasks as needed to support the team and FCS.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher in Healthcare Administration, Business, or other relevant fields

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of pharmacy experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years payor management, sales, and project management preferred
