As the senior most legal leader at Awesome, you will have the opportunity to have a huge influence globally alongside an amazing executive team. This role puts you at the forefront of emerging issues and opportunities across the entire industry. Your experience will help us build more responsible technology and products for customers around the world who care about the experience and how ethically it is built and run. 

Governments are currently struggling with emerging issues in privacy, copyright, AI, interoperability and data portability, and so much more.  As an established leader in the industry with two of the biggest platforms, we are in a unique position to help move those issues in positive directions for the actual customers.

Your opportunity:

• Lead all legal efforts at Awesome, including managing external counsel relationships.
• Partner with every other department to positively influence business results.
• Engage with external industry partners and global policy makers to help make a positive impact in our industry.

What you bring:

• Experience leading a legal organization at a senior level.
• Deep understanding of business and finances.
• Knowledge and experience of tech industry law and policy.

Awesome is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The US Based salary range for this role is $225,000-$350,000 This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled.
