Sr. SAP Master Data Specialist

The role provides essential support in bridging business process and system gaps, identify, add, maintain and resolve master data and transactional errors in the system that impact material planning, costing and inventory accuracy. Candidate will have good understanding of business process, analyze transactional data and identify opportunities to improve logistics operation efficiency.
 

You Will:

• Data health checks and metrics for the plant /warehouse.
• Identify Process vs systems gaps and work with Process owners & Enterprise team to fill the gap.
• Master data /configuration issue notification and ticket generation.
• Work with Plant logistics operation and material flow engineer for any systems/process change.
• Master data maintenance for plant and logistics operations center.
• Able to work with cross-functional team and lead projects for the department.
• Support Plant Logistics operations team with transaction and systems error.
• Data analytics and master data in-consistency check on daily ,weekly and monthly basis.
• Cutover support during new product launch and phases.
• Support training team in creating job aids and SOP’s.
• Support inventory team during physical inventory.

You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in the areas of Computer Science/Engineering, Data Engineering or other related fields preferred.
• Ideally 3+ years of work experience in Automotive/manufacturing or related fieldGood understanding of SAP Master Data such as Material Master, MRP different views, Material Planning, Production Planning, and impacts, EWM and MM product Master etc.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and logistics business process. Able to talk in business and systems language with relevant groups.
• Hands on experience in Master Data Maintenance such as Material master, EWM Product Master, Kanban Control Cycles etc.
• Able to lead projects/programs with cross functional teams and deliver projects on time.
• Good understanding of SAP S4 HANA and Fiori apps.
• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience in related field
• Ability to understand automotive Material Flow business process and required Master Data
• Good understanding of Bill of Materials, Routing, Production Supply Area and material masters fields functions and impact to the business.
• High level configuration and troubleshooting knowledge to resolve SAP issues
• Hands on experience with SAP EWM, MM and PP preferred.
