If you're a driven leader with a passion for teamwork and an eye for continuous improvement, we’d love to meet you!Summary/Objective This position will oversee all operations for receiving, inventorying, and loading out bulk fertilizers and industrial products.Essential Functions· Manage the warehouse and storage facilities within all OSHA, EPA, and GreenPoint Ag EHS guidelines· Accountable for managing warehouse operations with a strong focus on prioritizing customer service.· Maintain and lead communications with outside logistics partners (railroads, barge lines, and trucks)· Receives and inspects all incoming products for quantity, quality, and condition of product· Responsible for inventory management of all products received into the facility· Demonstrate teamwork in working with all team members as needed daily between operations and commercial stakeholders.· Engage and collaborate regularly with customers to meet service and operational needs.· Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.· Budget requirements and future Capital Expenditure requests.· Assist in multiple aspects of the Crop Nutrient Department (i.e., accounting, logistics, system changes, etc.)· Embody GreenPoint Ag Vision, Mission, Values, and Goals in daily work, contributing to a strong company culture.Management Responsibilities· Oversee terminal staff assigned.· Responsibilities that include leading, developing, hiring, and retaining team members. Managing, scheduling, and assigning work. Reviewing performance, and recommending compensation and career path progression in line with performance.· Staff includes salaried and hourly employees – administrative staff, warehouse personnel, and loader operators for assigned location.· Proactively identify opportunities to ensure continuous product movement.· Adapt to seasonal demands with flexibility, including adjusting to extended hours and occasional weekend work during peak periods to support operational success.Required Qualifications· 3-5 years of operations experience in a Bulk CN Terminal required· Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Business is preferred.· Knowledge of products and blending software is preferred.· Operational experience with heavy equipment (Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, Material Handlers) preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities· Utilization of problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges.· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.· Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).· Detail oriented, with the capability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.· Rudimentary math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division & percentages).· Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task.· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, and vendors.· Maintain professionalism at all times.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office and warehouse setting. Will be routinely exposed to moving mechanical parts, adverse weather conditions, and extreme temperatures associated with working in outdoor and warehouse environments.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods and the use of hands to finger is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is helpful for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.Physical ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods and to move throughout the facility, which entails lifting and performing all functions listed above.
