JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ability to load arbors, prepare surface for plating by vapor blaster, and insert arbor for plating.
• Ensure quality and thickness of chrome, maintain chemical composition of chrome bath and operate shot peen machine
• Perform all required inspection checks on the rings
• Must be able to run to standard after training period
• Observe all safety policies
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math, read blueprints, and read applicable measuring devices
• Adherence to the Chrome Plate Job Instruction
• Any other duties as assigned

 

WORKING CONDITIONS/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Standing                100%
• Walking                 30%-70%
• Lifting                    100 lbs maximum with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs

 

Work environment involves exposure to potentially hazardous materials, which will require the use of additional personal protective equipment.
