Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Supervisor, Maintenance to contribute to our Maintenance team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. This person will supervise and perform maintenance and repairs of mobile equipment and fixed assets in the Distribution Center. This individual will lead facility maintenance team members in the performance of predictive, preventative, and breakdown repair maintenance tasks in a safe manner. They also will supervise troubleshooting and repairs to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and electronic controls. This Supervisor assists the Maintenance Manager in developing and delivering training to advance associates’ skillsets in meeting maintenance objectives. They will ensure spare parts & consumables inventory are maintained as readily available to respond to maintenance needs.

Schedule:
M-F 3:30p-12am
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience with high school diploma/GED.
- 5 years in a facility maintenance position, with 2 years in electrical repair.
- 2 years of conveyor maintenance and repair experience.
- 2 years in a maintenance supervisory or lead position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides advanced troubleshooting and repair for production equipment in an industrial setting.
- Contracts vendors to perform contractual repairs and periodic maintenance.
- Provides predictive & preventative maintenance, cost controls, reports, and replacement recommendations for parts and systems on equipment.
- Understanding of maintenance management systems and processes.
- Warehouse safety management: Hazmat and OSHA compliance
- Personnel management: Organization of work force, training and development to support high volume operational environment.
- Promotes team involvement and participation in setting goals, priorities, and strategies for safe, efficient, and effective plant/facility operations.
- Conducts associate performance evaluations.
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
- Proactively works on partnering with operations and engineering team members to identify and deliver solutions to meet business needs.
- Responsible for assisting in the hiring, on the job training, and orientation of associates hired in the department.
- Develops training plans to promote enhancement of maintenance associates’ abilities.
- Diagnose operational problems and recommends corrective actions.
- Diagnose operational and maintenance related tasks with industrial robotics systems.
