Responsibilities of a Dental Assistant Instructor

Deliver engaging and interactive lectures and hands-on training sessions
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and practical exams
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in dental technology and practices
Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them develop professional skills
Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience

Requirements of a Dental Assistant Instructor

NJ Radiology License/RDA/CDA
Minimum 5 years of Dental Assisting experience
Valid state Dental Assisting License

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
Certification in Dental Assisting (CDA) preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
No prior teaching experience required; comprehensive training will be provided
