Radiology Nursing is a dynamic unit that supports patients undergoing radiological procedures. While the unit does not have a specific number of beds, it plays a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during various imaging studies. The patient population and diagnoses in this unit vary, reflecting the diverse nature of radiology services. This position is specifically for a staff member to focus on CT scans.

Shift: Saturday & Sunday from 7a - 7:30p. Team members in a special weekend option (SWO) role are expected to work 48 out of the 52 weekends. This is a benefit eligible position and comes with a 40% increase to your base hourly rate as a shift differential. 

Nursing skills gained on this unit: 

• Obtain Radiology Nursing certification

Qualifications 

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
