Requisition Summary
Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an immediate opening for a Warranty Project Administration Claims Specialist within the National Fleet Accounts department. This multi-faceted position will work with internal teams to track repair activities, file warranty claims, as a data analyst for field action repairs and assist in other project administration duties as needed.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Interfacing professionally and effectively with others (internal and external) in resolving warranty claims and or field action activities
- Project oriented data analytics and reporting
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills through critical thinking
- Innovative mind-set to accomplish large-scale project objectives; be unconventional when needed
- Analyze and process warranty claims
- Review claim information provided by field action teams working independently or with other team members to properly assess next steps in processing, reporting and project completion
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Skills / Competencies
- 2 to 5 years of administrative and/or project leadership experience
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
- Handle multiple tasks, take initiative, team player, problem solver, critical thinker, detail-oriented professional
- Self-Starter
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) required
- Detail oriented driving for high level of accuracy
Education
A Bachelor's degree is recommended for this position; however, we will consider candidates that are currently pursuing their Bachelor's and will have obtained this degree within a reasonable time period.
