Onboarding Representative

About the role
Purpose:
The Onboarding Representative will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new customers. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn and navigate our software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact newly registered customers to welcome them and provide guidance on the onboarding process.
- Assist customers with setting up their accounts, including configuring system settings and importing data.
- Provide training to customers on how to use our software effectively and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries or issues related to the onboarding process.
- Document customer interactions and gather feedback to improve the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales and Product Development, to ensure a seamless transition for customers.
- Stay up-to-date on product updates and new features to provide accurate information to customers.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and resources.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to patiently guide customers through complex processes.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems and features.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a customer support or onboarding role is preferred.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of prior experience in customer support or onboarding.
- Experience with software or technology products is a plus.
- Experience with CRM and/or Salesforce preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in using computers and common software applications.
- Ability to work full-time at our office location.
