Job Description

Participate in daily Supply Chain Meeting to meet shipping expectations for the day.
 Review order status report throughout the day and schedule trucks and export containers for future domestic and
international outgoing shipments accordingly.
 Coordinate with Customer Service and Supply Chain for same day ship items.
 Escalate surges to work load that can jeopardize service and delivery before they become unmanageable.
 Able to correctly operate: Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), dock locks, lift tables, and automated stretch wrappers.
 Must perform preoperational checks on lift truck at the beginning of each shift.
 Load, unload, and transport material to and from designated areas (Coating, Warehouse, Finishing, and Shipping).
 Follow internal procedures for shipping all orders, stock and non-stock, ensuring to follow FIFO (First in First out)
of inventory and performing necessary material transactions for each order.
 Follow internal procedures for receiving orders into MFG-Pro and ensuring the proper labeling of material.
 Inspect incoming raw materials for damage, verify quantity, and tag appropriately.
 Perform inventory audits to verify accuracy and achieve business goals.
 Responsible for handling outbound transportation, manifesting, and labeling of hazardous waste.
 Understand and ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 regulations.
 Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities / ELS projects to increase the state of compliance,
effectiveness, and/or efficiency of the department and organization.
 Record material transactions in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and participate in quarterly audits.
 Participate in the development or revision of work instructions, standard work, and Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP) as necessary to ensure they reflect current practice and business needs.
 Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience required.
 3-5 years experience in material handling and inventory management preferred.
 Ability to obtain fork-lift operator’s license.
 Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
 Proficiency with computer applications. Strong skills with MS Office Suite (esp. Word and Excel).
 Ability to read and comprehend documents related to shipping and receiving processes.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely with other departments.
 Demonstrated ability to investigate and correct inventory inaccuracies.
 Must have prior knowledge of inventory systems.
 Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
 Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance is preferred.
