Qualifications: 

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field
  • Limited Licensure in your field of study (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, ect)
  • At least one year experience providing behavioral health counseling for youth ages 7-17

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides individual, group, conjoint or family psychotherapy and support services to children with severe emotional disturbance and their family.
  • Conducts clinical assessments, develops diagnoses, and participates in developing person/family centered treatment plans with client families.
  • Monitors client progress and coordinates appropriate behavioral health and other needed services.
  • Responsible for meeting all MDCH requirements for Home-based hours (minimum 4 hours per family per month).
  • Maintains an electronic and paper chart which includes required documentation of services provided, progress notes, treatment plans, periodic reviews and client rights documents.
  • Participates in individual supervision and team meetings to review progress, identify barriers and develop strategies for better assisting families in reaching their goals.
