Job Description
This role will be based in Mountain View, CA or San Francisco, CA.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Manager of Emerging Talent Programs to reimagine and lead the next generation of entry-level pipeline programs at LinkedIn. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of early identification and internship programs, guiding a team of five program managers and ensuring alignment with business outcomes across both technical and non-technical roles.
Reporting to the Director of Emerging Talent, you will play a critical role in shaping strategy, driving innovation, and building scalable programs that meet the evolving needs of our workforce. You’ll bring a bold, forward-thinking mindset with an eye toward AI adoption, speed to execution, and first-of-its-kind experiences to reimagine the recruitment lifecycle and transform how we attract, engage, and prepare entry-level talent.
This position is hybrid and based in the Bay Area – Mountain View or San Francisco. Regular participation in program events and in-office engagements will be required.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 5 program managers; foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth.
- Program Strategy: Build and evolve strategies for early ID and internship programs to deliver strong pipelines and measurable business impact.
- Innovation & AI Mindset: Champion new approaches in engaging emerging talent and design first-of-kind experiences, leveraging AI to accelerate time from idea to delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with senior business and TA leaders across tech and non-tech functions to ensure alignment of program outcomes with organizational goals.
- Operational Excellence: Drive program execution with strong project management, clear governance, and disciplined prioritization.
- Culture & Engagement: Champion LinkedIn’s culture of belonging; design events and touchpoints that create meaningful experiences for candidates and employees alike.
- Business Impact: Measure program effectiveness, report on outcomes, and ensure initiatives directly support LinkedIn’s strategic workforce needs.
- Event Engagement: Dedicate time to support and attend program events, building visibility and reinforcing program value across the company.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Program Management, or related fields
- 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- 3+ years leading talent programs (internships, apprenticeships, rotational programs, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong strategic mindset with proven ability to design and execute scalable talent programs
- Experience partnering with senior leaders across technical and non-technical organizations
- Demonstrated success in reimagining traditional processes with innovative, tech-forward solutions
- Ability to drive measurable business outcomes through programs and pipelines
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Passion for entry-level talent and commitment to building inclusive pathways for the workforce of the future
- Ability to drive clarity and team alignment around a vision
