Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries seeks an SEC Reporting Analyst that will help drive the SEC reporting process while streamlining our reports in order to meet our deliverables. The candidate will work across the organization to understand accounting impacts, key business issues and devise actionable strategic recommendations with corroborating financial analysis.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Assist in the preparation of the Company’s financial statements on Form 10-K and 10-Q to ensure the timely and accurate filing pursuant to SEC requirements and reporting deadlines including footnote, MD&A and XBRL disclosures.
Assist with the preparation of journal entries for hedging activities
Assist with monthly reconciliations
Assist with coordination of internal and external audit requests.
Assist with documentation of key processes and controls
Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statement reporting packages.
Assist in the preparation of the Company’s supplemental data package and investor presentations, including maintaining supporting schedules.
Assist in researching, benchmarking and documenting accounting treatments
Assist in designing and creating custom reports to enhance efficiency over the reporting processes related to accounting and financial reporting.
Assist in updating the accounting procedures manual, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s in Finance or related field from an accredited degree program.
Must have at least an overall 3.5 GPA and proven good academic standing.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior related internship or co-op experience. <
