Overview of the role :
The AYS (At Your Service) Operator will be responsible for managing guest requests and follow ups as well as Concierge Services. Position will require executing room service orders and utilize advanced technology to ensure exceptional, personalized service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance to the Autograph Collection standards under the franchise of Mainsail Lodging & Development.  

What you have  

• High school diploma, equivalent, or higher  

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 

• Ability to use technology, e.g., tablets, iPads, and computers 

• Previous hospitality experience 

• Excellent customer service skills, especially with phone communications 

• Experience working on a team and collaborating with different departmental teams 

• Ability to work in an organized, efficient, and effective manner 

• Ability to take initiative and handle assignments with limited supervision 

• Some experience or knowledge in collecting orders and processing payments 

• A sense of ownership in everything that you do 

 

What you’ll do  

• Manage high volume of incoming phone calls that include guest requests, guest inquiries, and follow ups 

• Effectively operate Micros in-room dining station 

• Operate Opera PMS system 

• Interact with guests and share hotel knowledge using personalization such as using the guest name 

• Responsible to know all functions to showcase the hotel to each guest 

• Receive, store, and deliver luggage and mail 

• Make travel arrangements for guests to include sightseeing and other tours 

• Verify charges / collect payment from guests for room stays 

• Assist with coordination between Housekeeping and Front Desk 

• Other necessary duties as reasonably assigned by manager
