Garmin Connect Mobile is our best known, Fitness and Outdoor power-house companion app catering to over 20+ million active users and supporting an ever-growing number of compatible Garmin devices. The feature set is very rich and targets our complex user base with running, cycling, wellness, training, smartwatch, golfing, diving, and even pregnancy tracking feature.

Your role will be to lead the team to develop, design and implement specific requirements and technical problems in a product development environment.

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require 5 days in the office each week. 

Responsibilities:

• Align the team and individual goals with the objectives of the organization.
• Actively leading the solution creation, effort estimation, development, and project implementation.
• Evaluate workload, adjusting schedules and priorities as required to make sure deadlines are met.
• Lead and mentor your team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to succeed.
• Provide guidance and team coaching to the team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to align development activities.
• Ensure efficient communication between teams.
• Track KPIs for your team and drive continuous process improvement.
• Evaluate performance and training needs for the team members.
• Foster a learning organization, career development, and associate satisfaction.
• Support team members, peers, and other Garmin associates by actively seeking feedback, building networks, sharing successes, tools and knowledge.
