Job Description

Ready to join our awesome Flex Team and become a superhero of care? Here's what your exciting adventure as a Certified Nurse Assistant entails:

  • Be the first officer of the daily care ship! Navigate the waters of residents' activities of daily living, steering them towards comfort and independence.
  • Become a resident preference detective! Uncover the unique likes and dislikes of each resident to create a personalized care experience that'll make them feel like VIPs.
  • Transform into a multi-talented assistant extraordinaire! Help residents with their social, personal, and health care needs – you'll be their go-to person for just about everything!
  • Don your safety superhero cape! Master the art of applying safety, infection control, and risk management procedures like a pro.
  • Channel your inner emergency response guru! Make swift decisions when the unexpected strikes and keep the right people in the loop.
  • Be the ultimate communication wizard! Keep those nursing supervisors updated on resident status and condition – your reports will be so good, they'll want to frame them!
  • Embrace your inner {NAME}! Investigate and report any discrepancies with the precision of a master detective.
  • Be ready for surprise missions! Other duties may be assigned, keeping you on your toes and adding spice to your day.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant License-active and in good standing.
  • Must be able to work well with different teams in different Communities.
  • 3-6 months experience working with senior adults preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Position requires strenuous physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
  • Sits, stands, bends and moves frequently during working hours.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
