Collins Aerospace is looking for an Senior Manager, Intelligence Community Cybersecurity. The Applied Signal Technology (AST) Intelligence Community Cybersecurity Manager ensures the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the Business’ Intelligence Community (IC) classified information systems. In this capacity, the IC Cyber Manager reports to the AST Director of Security.

This position is responsible for leading and providing oversight to the IC Cybersecurity team to ensure alignment with the business’ Security Core Capabilities, vision, mission, strategy and goals.  Responsibilities include oversight and leadership of the classified IC Cybersecurity program at all AST facilities, providing liaison with various external and internal customers, ensuring consistent enterprise messaging and collaboration; ensuring continuous communication and collaboration with the other AST Security sections facilitate the effective safeguarding of classified information systems.  This individual is responsible for the implementation of, and compliance with, customer policies, standards, processes, and systems relating to classified information systems. 

The candidate will need to demonstrate leadership, managerial skills, as well as the ability to work confidently across all levels of employees and customers.

The candidate will require not only a strategic vision and tactical skills, but drive results through accountability.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
    • Experience in cybersecurity, systems security or hardening
    • Experience with network security and/or systems security, which includes any of the following: architecture, topology, protocols, components, and/or principles 
    • Experience with configuring and/or auditing operating systems
    • Experience in compliance-based auditing using the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SNAC guides, Nessus, SCAP and ICD-503
    • Responsible for leading direct reports and/or experience managing and mentoring teams
    • Possess IAM level III certified credentials (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO)
    • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Security Clearance:
    • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
    • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements 

Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in executing leadership and managerial duties (i.e. performance development, career coaching, mentoring, training, resource management, budget management, etc.)
    • Experience in the oversight and execution of the Assessment & Authorization processes (Certification & Accreditation), as defined in JSIG/RMF
    • Experience in the execution and management of Information System’s (IS) incident response and administrative inquiries/investigations in collaboration with the Investigations department
    • Experience in the oversight and execution of a continuous monitoring/improvement program (to include but not limited to self-inspections, security control assessments, training, log management systems, automated inventory utilities, etc.)
    • Experience with various types of special test equipment (STE), and/or platform IT
    • Experience working with the customer, both internal and external in the development of Basis of Estimates (BOE's) and contract negations
    • Experience in professional engagements with internal and external customers (i.e. AOs, DAOs, SCAs, Program Managers, etc.), to include negotiating controls/requirements with government Contracting Activities
