Description

The Department of Accounting and Information Management (AIM) in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK), is accepting applications for two full-time, tenure track assistant professors in accounting to begin August 1, 2025. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service and should thrive in a diverse and intellectually stimulating environment.

Qualifications

Potential candidates must hold a doctoral degree (at time of appointment) with a specialization in accounting and should have an ongoing program of substantive research in accounting (audit, financial, tax) and demonstrate excellent teaching potential. The ideal candidate will have a strong pipeline of research projects in process and/or an established record of top-tier publications.
