About the Role:
Bring a combination of HFC infrastructure, Hardware, Systems Integration Test and modern software expertise to develop, integrate, test, support, and apply your craft to help build the next generation of HFC RF and optical infrastructure and participate in the development of industry-leading network enhancements that will maximize broadband capacity. Contribute to a team that is building the next generation of 10G DOCSIS 4.0 Full-Duplex Technology increasing capacity and spectral efficiency
Responsible for systems integration, test planning and execution, and lab resource management for cutting edge access network solutions, innovating, and integrating access network technologies across multiple disciplines, all lines of business and constantly seeking to improve the network performance and quality of experience of subscribers.

This is a critical role responsible for organizing and leading integration activity for reference designs, proof-of-concept prototypes, release candidates, and verification of generally available production solutions in the lab, trial, and production field deployments.
We are looking for a broad mix of skills and interests ranging from networking skills, Lab Management, Test planning and execution, RF HFC, DOCSIS, and software to engaging cross-domain development teams with systems architecture and DOCSIS subject matter expertise.

What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and discover network and service design challenges and design innovative solutions to some key HFC challenges with the use of new and optimization of existing network infrastructure.
- Lead and collaborate with the R&D team to design and organize testing plans, lab facilities, resources, and execution.
- Build lab test systems to evaluate new hardware and software supporting distributed access architecture, specify design and operations guidelines, and support testing and validation teams.
