This position is responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly balancing of hog procurement. This is a third shift position.  Hours are 10:00 p.m.  to 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday with Saturday work as scheduled.

SUMMARY

• Training to write procurement checks based on grades, yields, and “contract" payments, and prepare paperwork for incoming loads. 
• Maintain, distribute, and file reports and paperwork. 
• Assist producers and buyers to resolve problems with payments or yields by researching issues and working with corporate.

Other duties as assigned. 

• Selected candidate will cross-train in all areas/shifts in the office to provide vacation and sick-day coverage.

           

REQUIREMENTS

• Education:  High school diploma or equivalent required, secondary education preferred.  
• Experience:  Preference given to applicants with 1+ years office experience and those with prior accounts payable or bookkeeping experience. 
• Computer skills:  Basic computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel.  Experience with SAP software is a plus. 
• Communication skills:  Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required. 

Must be self-motivated and able to work with little to no direction supervision.
