Sr. Product UX Designer

We're seeking a Senior Product UX Designer to lead the experience our users have in our email transactional API tool Mailgun! Our team's mission is to present our portfolio of products in such a way that is easily digestible by customers while continuing to innovate and build a best-in-class product line within the email space. We're looking for someone who is able to look at the big picture of a customer journey, and is not afraid to get creative to deliver compelling user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive the user experience for new features and improve the Mailgun product capabilities.
• Build outstanding UX providing end-to-end design on projects, collaborating with a team of UI and UX designers.
• Gather user experience data including customer feedback, competitive benchmarking, and user feedback and testing.
• Convey design ideas via user flows, wireframes and prototypes in both low- and high-fidelity.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering and UI designers to work with multiple teams in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.
• Support and work closely with development teams throughout the implementation cycle of the design to provide optimized assets and development accuracy.

What we're looking for

• Someone with knowledge of UX/UI patterns for product design
• A drive to improve the usability of complex problems within software
• Ability to work open-minded in a cross-collaborative environment to gather feedback from team members and colleagues
• Comfort in creating and running user testing and other qualitative customer validation.
• A portfolio of great UX design and strategy that meet user needs, product requirements, and business goals.
• Ability to collaborate across various timezones.
• Ability to think like a developer and designer and create experiences for a self-service audience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Extensive experience working in Figma
• Experience using Invision
• Experience in using components to design within a pre-defined design system
• Preferred experience or understanding of designing for React applications but not required

The annual starting salary for this position is between $104,800 - $137,550. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
