Strada is currently recruiting for a Workday Consultant - Benefits and Compensation  within our Cloud Optimization Practice area. We have an ever-expanding business pipeline and are seeking suitably skilled and interested candidates to help us build our practice in line with the growth of the Workday ecosystem. 

 
As a Workday Functional Senior Consultant, you will play a key role as part of an industry-leading team, helping to drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within our Professional Services business group. 
 
Location is primarily home-based with travel to client sites (up to 20%) 
  

The Role

• Independently consults with external clients and participates in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle—from planning and design through testing and deployment for Workday HCM and/or Financials.

• Executes medium to large client deliverables across multiple concurrent projects, adhering to Strada’s quality standards and consulting methodology.

• Manages work within defined scope, timeline, and budget; coordinates with others as needed.

• Assesses client requests, identifies actual needs, provides SME input, proposes alternatives, and recommends solutions.

• Shares lessons learned, Workday best practices, and Strada’s point of view with clients.

• Provides direction and guidance to less experienced colleagues, including work delegation and deliverable review.

• Leads or participates in internal initiatives to support Strada’s brand and collateral development (e.g., domain groups, chats, training).

• Represents Strada in Workday ecosystem product groups and discussions.

• Serves as SME in functional/technical areas with deep expertise (e.g., Compensation, Benefits).

• Creates work estimates for small to large scopes of work.

Additional Responsibilities (CDS/Deployment Focus)

• May consult independently on complex projects and/or lead Medium Enterprise or smaller Large Enterprise engagements.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical, business, or financial discipline.

• Relevant Workday Certification(s) required; ongoing re-certification is expected.

• Additional Workday certifications may be required based on role.

• Strong consultative skills to guide client and internal discussions toward timely solutions.

• Experience implementing complex business solutions under multiple deadlines.

• Ability to prioritize and organize complex work to meet quality and timeliness standards.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent change.

• Demonstrated creativity and analytical thinking in problem-solving.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with appropriate escalation practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.

• Proven commitment to delivery excellence and client satisfaction.

• Demonstrates initiative and curiosity to expand skills across domains.
