EdAdvance is one of Connecticut's six Regional Educational Service Centers (RESCs). EdAdvance is also a partner in the RESC Alliance and works collaboratively with the other RESC groups to support state-wide initiatives.

Physical Therapist
Birth to Three/Early Intervention
Annual Calendar/Waterbury
Part Time/Per Diem
 
Major Responsibilities:

  • Home visitation with infants and toddlers and their families
  • Conduct developmental screenings and/or eligibility evaluations
  • Assist families with the implementation of functional, age-appropriate strategies
  • Develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) with families
  • Provide service coordination to families
  • Assist child with transition to preschool programming
  • Work in transdisciplinary team of Early Childhood professionals
  • Position requires home visitation and regional travel throughout Waterbury
  • Regular and consistent attendance is considered an essential function of this position

 
The Physical Therapist works under the supervision of the Birth to Three Director in the division of Early Childhood & Family Programs.

Qualifications:

  • CT DPH Licensed/Certified Physical Therapist
  • Experience with Infants, Toddlers and Families
  • Service Coordination training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent organizational skills and computer literacy
  • Driver's license and auto insurance required
