Qualitest is looking for a SCADA Data Test Engineer for a Hybrid (1 day onsite, 4 days remote) position in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.

Requirements

• Perform Data Maintenance services on substations.
• Build and model the new database points in NMR4 CIM DE Toolkit and Future OSI Monarch OSI product.

• Perform dual data maintenance in ABB NMR4 and OSI Monarch systems after transition to ADMS occurs.

• Build and/or update associated one-line drawings (Substation and Voltage Optimization Overview Displays).

• Build maintenance files when needed.

• Test SCADA VO RTUs, Capacitor Banks, transformers, and other protective equipment with ComEd Field engineers.

• Troubleshoot any potential data issues and resolve issues as they occur.

• Provide Weekly engagement Status Reports with details of work complete, personnel work week billable hours, accomplishments, plan for subsequent week, build/upgrade protective equipment, CCR links, MSC updates, VO project point and MNT file updates and testing.

• Provide support for after hours, weekend and holiday testing on potential work.

• Participate in weekly conference calls related to scope and drive to success the various parties required for input.

• Assist with condition reporting or ACE investigations when needed.

• Continuous process improvement and process documentation generation.

• Error and incident free execution with 2 Qualitest consultants knowledgeable in ComEd SCADA, NMR4, OSI, PowerBase systems, and familiar with testing with related systems and field personnel.

Preferred to have:

1. Entry level Electrical Engineering background preferred (must have a least some type of engineering background)
