About the role

General Purpose:

 

The Content Development Specialist designs and produces high‑impact enablement materials that equip TPx revenue teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to perform effectively throughout the customer lifecycle. This role creates facilitator‑ready content that translates strategy, processes, products, and sales methodologies into clear, scalable, and easy‑to-consume assets. Working closely with Sales Enablement leaders, subject matter experts, Product, Sales Operations, and Marketing, this position builds structured deliverables such as playbooks, plays, personas, battle cards, job aids, and eLearning modules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Enablement Content Design & Development

  • Designs and develops both facilitator-led and self‑paced enablement content to support onboarding, everboarding, product and system launches, sales plays, and process changes.
  • Produces a wide range of enablement assets, including:
    • Sales playbooks and plays
    • Buyer and user personas
    • Competitive battle cards
    • Job aids and process guides
    • Facilitator guides and presentation decks
    • Interactive eLearning modules and knowledge checks
  • Translates complex business, product, and technical information into clear, role‑based, learner‑friendly content grounded in adult learning principles.
  • Ensures all materials are structured for consistent facilitator delivery and aligned to defined competencies, behaviors, and desired outcomes.

Instructional Design & Learning Experience

  • Applies instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE) to create engaging, effective learning experiences.
  • Develops interactive eLearning using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.
  • Designs blended learning journeys that integrate facilitator-led sessions, self‑paced modules, and reinforcement resources.
  • Incorporates assessments, practice activities, and reinforcement mechanisms to support skill adoption and behavior change.
  • Ensures all enablement materials meet accessibility requirements, branding guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Manages post‑event content packaging and administrative tasks, including editing recorded sessions, producing printable companion materials, and developing self‑paced modules in Articulate Rise 360 for LMS delivery.

AI Enablement & Modern Learning Practices

  • Embeds AI concepts, workflows, and best practices into enablement content to enhance seller productivity and informed decision‑making.
  • Leverages AI tools to accelerate content development, improve efficiency, and elevate the learning experience.
  • Partners with Enablement and Operations teams to document and operationalize AI‑supported selling motions and workflows.

Content Development, Governance & Lifecycle Management

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts across Sales, Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to gather insights and validate content accuracy.
  • Iterates on content based on learner feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs.
  • Supports organization, tagging, and ongoing maintenance of content within enablement platforms and LMS environments.
  • Participates in content lifecycle management, ensuring accuracy, relevance, version control, and timely retirement of outdated materials.
  • Manages multiple content development projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and deliverables.

 

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, enablement content development, or learning design within sales enablement, GTM, or corporate L&D environments.
  • Proven experience developing facilitator‑led and digital learning content for adult learners.
  • Experience creating sales enablement materials such as playbooks, job aids, personas, sales plays, and competitive resources.
  • Experience working with LMS platforms, including ADP LMS or similar systems.
  • Hands‑on experience editing recorded content and producing instructional videos using Camtasia, creating polished multimedia assets for enablement programs.
  • Strong instructional design foundation with practical application of adult learning principles.
