Job Overview:
As a Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of our next-generation, highly scalable, and resilient cloud-native backend solutions on AWS. you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge mobile applications and web platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled, solution-oriented team player with strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across multiple teams to drive project success. You’ll work closely with our product, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with Tactacam’s product initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy backend applications and APIs using TypeScript.
- Utilize AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) to define and manage cloud infrastructure as code.
- Work extensively with NoSQL databases, particularly Amazon DynamoDB, for data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to define and implement application requirements.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including knowledge of design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- Strong knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB.
- Experience developing and deploying AWS Lambda functions.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- At least one AWS Associate-level certification or higher.
- Understanding of the MQTT protocol.
