Job Overview:

As a Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of our next-generation, highly scalable, and resilient cloud-native backend solutions on AWS. you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge mobile applications and web platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled, solution-oriented team player with strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across multiple teams to drive project success. You’ll work closely with our product, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with Tactacam’s product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy backend applications and APIs using TypeScript.
• Utilize AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) to define and manage cloud infrastructure as code.
• Work extensively with NoSQL databases, particularly Amazon DynamoDB, for data storage and retrieval.
• Develop and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to define and implement application requirements.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including knowledge of design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Strong knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB.
• Experience developing and deploying AWS Lambda functions.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• At least one AWS Associate-level certification or higher.
• Understanding of the MQTT protocol.
