Job Description
As the Communication Designer for product management education, you will be a key member of the Strategic Product and Platform Operations team supporting the President and Chief Operating Officer in driving operational excellence within the product management community through a transformative career development program called PMx360. This multifaceted position offers the opportunity to gain a strategic understanding of ServiceNow’s business across its full product suite and exposure to a broad set of leaders across ServiceNow.
In this role, you will lead the storytelling and creation of program communication materials along with visual elements to support our learning courses to help our product management community reach their full potential! This person will enable our team to tell inspirational and visually rich stories to our customers and event audiences, through presentations, video and instructional materials.
The ideal candidate is an excellent storyteller that has an inherent ability to make complex topics simple yet intuitive. You are confident in collaborating at all levels. You have strong visual, written and verbal communication skills and can excel in a dynamic fast-paced work environment. What you get to do in this role:
- Serve as the Lead Communications Designer on projects for PMx360’s various learning programs to support new hire onboarding, in-role development, and manager enablement.
- Craft and design materials that communicate vision and learning strategy through a number of mediums including presentations, videos, newsletters, print collateral, event invitations, swag, etc.
- Responsible for the vision, functionality, and ongoing management of the PMx360’s SharePoint site.
- Work directly with the Director of Product Management Learning & Development and Sr. Learning Strategist to understand their vision and translate the message and content into visual and written communications.
- Support Instructional Designer in visual needs and updates related to eLearning courses
- Where needed, work with outside vendors and partners to execute on key projects.
Qualifications
You have a passion for developing others, preferably in the product management field. Qualifications include having a bachelor’s degree with at least 8-10 years of professional or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing with a proven track record of leading through influence vs. authority. This role requires a well-rounded individual who has a customer-centric approach and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. You are a resourceful, independent problem solver with the ability to embrace creative approaches that tackle business challenges while being a strong teammate and collaborator.
