Job Summary:

Leads assigned staff in performing activities or tasks for ensuring corporate compliance with regulatory agencies.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. 
  • Monitors, advises, and reviews progress of work. 
  • Reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.  
  • Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. 
  • Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff. 
  • Conducts routine monthly audits within the assigned department functions to ensure that information in key systems is accurate and that policies and procedures are being followed. Prepares reports on monthly audit performance for review by department and company leadership. 
  • Provides constructive feedback to managers and staff on the various department teams. Assists in designing improvement plans and educates staff to instill a culture of continuous improvement across the department. Ensures that errors discovered during audits are communicated and corrected promptly. 
  • Facilitates collaborative work sessions to discuss quality issues, projects, and programs. 
  • Assists with data analysis and report creation to support the entire Revenue Cycle. 
  • Performs barrier and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and identify best practices. 
  • May provide input for hiring, training, leading, and evaluating staff. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience 


EXPERIENCE

  • Five years’ experience in a health care or health insurance setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
