Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through meticulous testing and analysis.
Responsibilities
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and TPMs, to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.
Develop automated testing tools and frameworks with focus on Python scripting
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and debugging and log analysis.
Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness by identifying areas for automation and optimization.
Identify and tracks defects for the assigned testing scope
Plan test schedule, devices, and tools, ensure proper test scope is covered.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering or Science degree.
1-3 years of working experience in QA handset/mobile testing or related telecommunications field is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Solid understanding of product quality management and development lifecycles
Previous experience with TS.43 architecture and HTTP/TCP protocols
Good communication (written and verbal), organizational and time management skills.
Goal oriented, possess a sense of urgency and capable to work under pressure and also work independently with limited supervision
Hands on experience with IMS provisioning and entitlement and AOSP telephony features like UICC, APNs, VOIP Call, IP Messaging and Visual VoiceMail.
