Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through meticulous testing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and TPMs, to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.

• Develop automated testing tools and frameworks with focus on Python scripting

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and debugging and log analysis.

• Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness by identifying areas for automation and optimization.

• Identify and tracks defects for the assigned testing scope

• Plan test schedule, devices, and tools, ensure proper test scope is covered.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering or Science degree.

• 1-3 years of working experience in QA handset/mobile testing or related telecommunications field is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of product quality management and development lifecycles

• Previous experience with TS.43 architecture and HTTP/TCP protocols

• Good communication (written and verbal), organizational and time management skills.

• Goal oriented, possess a sense of urgency and capable to work under pressure and also work independently with limited supervision

• Hands on experience with IMS provisioning and entitlement and AOSP telephony features like UICC, APNs, VOIP Call, IP Messaging and Visual VoiceMail.
