Ultrasound Technologist Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience.- RDMS certification is required (RVT certification preferred).- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in working with a diverse patient population.- Ability to work independently and stay organized with minimal supervision.- Must provide required credential documentation as per company, client, and state guidelines.- Current vaccinations and ability to pass health screenings (including drug and background checks).- BLS/CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform medical diagnostic imaging procedures (OB, general, and vascular) proficiently.- Effectively communicate clinical findings and ultrasound results to the radiologist.- Ensure proper High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures and documentation are followed.- Use PACS and EMR systems to manage and document patient data accurately.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, including assisting with patient lifting, positioning aids, and portable ultrasound equipment.- Requires physical flexibility to adjust equipment and assist with patient positioning.- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing scans.- Endurance to complete multiple consecutive scans as needed.
