Job Description

We are looking for a Freelance/Contract Graphic Designer to help round out our creative team. Our team is constantly evolving to stay on the cutting edge of all things digital and committed to providing our clients amazing solutions. We are interested in a long-term relationships with individuals spanning all specialties of design. Designers at Metia execute creative work through the lens of digital, motion, and interactive design for various marketing outputs including campaigns, presentations, ebooks, infographics, video and other various marketing materials.

This position is for a freelance Designer, and preferably in the states of Washington or Texas. However, candidates in these states may also be considered; Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Idaho.

What you will do

• Develop and execute strong and compelling creative designs, driven by strategy, for various mediums, including social, print, digital, video, and email communications.
• Work with other discipline leads to brainstorm, design, and present work to clients. You’ll collaborate with teams across the agency and with clients to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Innovate through the undefined and develop solutions through design exploration.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful

• Your portfolio is an important part of the process. Please include a link.
• 2-3 years experience in design roles, preferably in a B2B tech agency environment.
• A keen eye and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and solid work ethic.
• Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design, typography, photography, motion, and illustration.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge with Adobe Animate, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
