Bringing Ingenuity to Life.</strong></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Are you a creative thinker who can come up with innovative solutions to complex problems?</p><p>We are seeking an experienced and talented <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Industrial Designer</strong> to join our fantastic team of researchers, designers, engineers and experience modellers to create future products for some of the world’s most exciting consumer, professional and healthcare brands. <strong>Healthcare Design</strong> is a strategic growth area for Design Partners, therefore suitable applicants will be passionate about design and usability solutions that transform patient care. You will lead clients with inspiring and ambitious design concepts and sweat the detail as we bring the vision to life.</p><p>You will:</p><ul><li>Participate in research and mine for insight to inspire solutions</li><li>Build compelling stories that will project the brand and captivate its audience</li><li>Think strategically and guide our clients with compelling solutions</li><li>Create outstanding product concepts across a broad spectrum of industries</li><li>Possess a strong aesthetic sensibility and a great eye for detail</li><li>Design holistic user experiences</li><li>Have a sustainability mindset when developing new concept ideas</li><li>Continually hone your creative, technical and communication skills</li><li>Confidently move between craft and digital tools to optimise creative workflow</li><li>Collaborate with an open mind with colleagues and clients</li><li>Lead with creativity and act with urgency</li><li>Drive to design at the highest level for our clients and their customers</li></ul><p>Flexible working - We are guided by our client work and needs; however, you have autonomy to manage your time and diary to suit your work/life balance.</p><p>#LI-IC2</p><p>#LI-Hybrid</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in industrial design</li><li>Minimum 6 years professional experience (ideally in consultancy but not essential)</li><li>Exceptional portfolio showing all levels of product and user experience design process</li><li>Fluent and confident with hand sketching and craft modelling</li><li>Exceptional aesthetic sensibility</li><li>Thorough understanding of three-dimensional design and skilled with Rhino/Solid Works and Keyshot.</li><li>Experienced at interpreting research material with a strategic mindset</li><li>Experienced at tuning in to brand values and crafting compelling stories</li><li>Experienced leading projects and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team</li><li>Experience working with healthcare brands is a positive but not essential</li><li>Empathetic to user needs, motivations and behaviours</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong ability to articulate and convince others of your ideas and strategies</li><li>Solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing requirements</li></ul><p>We know the skill-gap and ‘somewhat need to tick every box’ can get in the way of meeting brilliant candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply – we’d love to hear from you.</p><p><strong>Apply today by completing our online application</strong></p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Life At PA encompasses our peoples' experience at PA.
