You Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five years of related experience in a professional services environment with progressively increased management responsibilities. Experience in public accounting is a plus.
- Minimum of three years of experience managing staff.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, people and project management skills, and an ability to identify and implement creative solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations, systems, and procedures.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Participative and consultative management style; interacts well with all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to deal positively with adversity and difficult situations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CCH Axcess suite is a plus.
You Will
- Hire, train, coach, and supervise the workload of the administrative team.
- Ensure excellent service is provided on a consistent basis to both internal and external clients.
- Promote and maintain a positive and safe working environment for employees.
- Supervise office purchases, reconcile credit card, and participate in budgeting process for office spending.
- Maintain and manage relationships with vendors.
- Oversee office services, including, kitchen, conference rooms, office supplies, etc.
- Handle the overall management of the firm’s physical facilities in Santa Rosa and St. Helena and related functions, including but not limited to general office space planning; renovation of office space when necessary; communication with building management.
- Manage events and large meetings for the North Valley region such as employee gatherings, retreats, off-site conferences, and team-building activities.
- At the request of the Director of Administration, collaborate in firm-wide initiatives working with other leaders and Administrative Managers.
- Assist tax administration during busy season if necessary.
